Margaret Wellwood

At the end of 2023, Margaret retired from the Partnership and from 1 January 2024 assumed the role of Solicitor. Margaret works four days each week, generally not on Wednesdays.​

Margaret qualified in 1978 and moved to Hawke's Bay two years later.  Since then she has practised, and developed a national profile in Property Law in its broadest sense.

​​She was the first female Partner in any Hawke's Bay law firm, a Partner in Kelly McNeil, and joined Langley Twigg as a Partner on 1 January 2013 when the two firms merged.
